My family is from Guatemala. I have some general information but not much. my grandfather is Isidoro Alvarez, born Anitigua, Guatemala not sure of the year late 1890's or early 1900s. He never married my grandmother (Maria Aquino) but had at least one son together in 1938 (my father) was born in Guatemala city. If this ties in w your family lines please let me know. I am first generation american and it is hard to find information when you dont live in the country the records are kept
