Looking for relatives and/or information about Raymond (Ramon) Alvarez and his family. He was born in Spain, birthdate (we think) 08/08/1871. He came to the US late 1800's and settled in New York City where he worked at a Pharmaceutical Co. as a bookkeeper. He also spoke 6 or 7 languages. He was a graduate of the Univ. of Madrid before emigrating to the US. He married Emma Grace Harris and had their first child, Consuelo, (my grandmother) in 1903. Four more children followed (a girl and 3 boys). In 1906 the family moved to New Jersey. Raymond died March 15, 1921. Grandma is now 98 yrs. old and wants to know about her father's history, education, family,etc. She remembers little. Some relatives stayed in Spain. A younger sister, Manuela (?)went to Cuba and had 5 children. Any info is greatly appreciated.
