Hi my name is Tommy Altomere and I am assuming that I am a member of the Altomare family. My Grandfather was born in Cotronei, Calabria, in 1933. He migrated over to the US after the war. His name is Santo Altomare but it changed to Altomere shortly after he arrived to the US. I geuss I would just like to know some history about who we are. I know the stories from how my Grandfather and his sister moved to the US. However, I have know idea how we got our name or our history. I geuss it is because my Grandfather's father died when he was born and his mother two years later. I am really interested in this because it is my name.
