I was told that when Altomare's came from Italy they sometimes changed thier name to Altimore. I am a Altimore. I am looking for information on my family tree.
Samuel Edward Altimore was my Grandfather, His father is thought to be Salvatore (Samuel) Altomare(Altimore)and he came through Ellis Island.
