mc.1768 James R. Wilson, Sr. and had 4 children, including the well known Rev. John McKemie Wilson, b. 1769.

Perhaps related to :
Stephen Alexander, b. Mecklenburg, NC, 1749, d.1831 Mecklenburg.
m. 1771 Martha Wilson (1754-1843).
He served 5 months as lieutenant, under Capt. William Houston, North Carolina troops, and received a captain's commission, which he held until the close of the war.
In 1843 his widow applied for a pension, which was allowed.
