Emily Aldridge is mentioned in both books as follows:

Book One, page 71, Aldridge marriages in Garrard County, Kentucky.

Aldridge, Emily to william H. Pettus 13 May 1838.

Book Two, page 246, Kentucky Records, Garrard County.

"John P. Aldridge was born about 1773 in Montgomery County, Maryland. He died June or July 1833 in Garrard County. He married 28 April 1801 Mary Gill, sister to the above Cassandra. Joshua Aldridge was their bondsman. She was born 30th March 1782. 'Issue' (Ref: R. N. Aldridge)

1 - Elizabeth b 23 Dec. 1802 m 29 June 1820 Samuel G. Tillet
2 - William Owsley b 2 Sept. 1804 d 26 Dec. 1853 m Rebecca
Robinson. Lived in Mississippi.
3 - Marie b 11 April 18__ m 4 Sept. 1832 James Tillet
4 - EMILY b 6 Sept. 1814 m 13 May 1835 WM H. PETTUS
5 - John Alexander b June 1817 m 22 Aug. 1844 America Proctor
6 - Almira b 26 April 1820 m 30 May 1843 Charles N. Warren
7 - Robert M. b 12 March 1823 m 31 Oct. 1850 Mary C. Dudley".

Note the two marriage years, i.e. 1838 in Book One and 1835 in Book Two. I suspect 1838 is the correct one but only because that is the year you mentioned - even though the month is different.
