Hi,
I saw your posting and was hoping we may be able to help each other. I have a James M Adams born abt 1817? who lived in the Lumpkin area. Married Sara S Donaldson. His son James M Adams JR moved to Alabama and was residing there at the death of james Adams sr in 1899-1900 according to court records. James parents are unknown. One world tree puts david adams as james father but david and mary were born in 1802 and would have been too young to have been james sr's parents. this leaves me searching for the real parents of James M Adams. I do know James had 1 daughter and several sons. Mary Ann Adams, Roarke roe Adams, Joseph Robert Adams, James M Adams Jr, and Absalom Q. Adams. if any of this info rings a bell please feel free to contact me and we can share some more information.
