Denton Adams and Nancy Wilson, late 19th cent. in Ohio and PA

Seeking information on the family of Denton ADAMS, b. 1827 in VA; married Nancy WILSON in Richhill Twp., Greene Co., PA in 1851 and settled in Muskingum Co., OH.

Denton served in the Civil War as a private in Co. I, 122nd Ohio Infantry.

Denton Adams and Nancy Wilson had 5 children: Arabella (1853); LaFayette (1856); Laura (1861); Perry (1872) and Alice (1874).

Denton is listed in the 1850 and 1860 censuses, but NOT in 1870; and in 1880, Nancy Wilson Adams is listed as a widow and living in Richhill Twp., Greene Co., PA

QUESTION: When and where did Denton die? Clearly it was before 1880 but where was he in 1870?

QUESTION: What happened to La Fayette Adams? He is listed in the 1860 census with Denton and Nancy, but not after that. Could he have died young? IF so, when and where?

QUESTION: Who is the father of the two children (Alice and Perry) living with Nancy when she is listed in Richhill Twp., Greene Co., PA in the 1880 census?

QUESTION: What happened to Alice and Perry after 1880. I can not identify them in later censuses?

Willing to share information.
