Hello. Yes I am a cousin from the Adams family tree. My research suggests that there were three Adam's brothers that came to the USA at about the same time. One went to Mass. One to Pennsylvania and one to Virginia. The Mass family is the ancestors of the Presidents and the Pennsylvania is the Ancestor of ours in Kentucky. The Virginia Adam's line also ended up in Southern/Eastern Kentucky with some ending up in Pendleton County which is the line that does not appear to be related to us.
I have not CONNECTED our relation to the one going to Pennsylvania but with time I will. As more information is available on the net then the link to the Pennsylvania branch will be easier to trace.
Our family does trace back to a William Adams
He had the following children:
William, Stephen, Isaac, Samuel, John, and James
My line is from James who married Agnes Wilson and had the following children:
John Charles, Thomas, Rogert G, James, Matthew, and Jesse,
John Charles Adams married Elizabeth Peek and with his family came to Kentucky. It is told that there was once a cabin in DeVou Park in Covington, Ky. It was near the out door stage. Years of weather finally destroyed it and the remains were later moved. I wish I had known about this and gotten some pictures of it.
John Charles and Elizabeth Peek had the following children:
Thomas Jefferson, Matthew, Letty, Robert Gillespie, Alanson, John C, Benjamin, Isaac and Elizabeth
Thomas Jefferson Adams married Letta Peek and had the following children:
Elizabeth, Presley Peek, Polly, Artemicia, John Presley Hampton, Eleanor M, Thomas Davis "Dee", Letta, and Robert Barnes Adams. THis family moved to Grant County, Ky.
Your Ancestry is as follows but in reverse order
Mary Jane Adams was the daughter of Presley Peek Adams and Mary Ann (Polly) Stephens. Presley Peek Adams was the son of Thomas Jefferson Adams who married Letta Peek.
Presley Peek Adams was the son of John Charles and Elizabeth Adams. If you look above you will see the line. SO we are cousins but several times removed.

Robert Barnes Adams married Nancy Elizabeth Menefee and they had the following children;
Letta Jane, Thomas Jefferson (must have loved that name), Robert Lee, Benjamin Price, George Washington, Elizabeth Frances, and Charles Ditchen. Still living in Grant County
Robert Lee Adams married Lou Mattie Norton and moved to Williamstown, Ky. They had the following children
Griffin, Pearl Lee (my great grantmother), Carl Bernard, Ottis Pryor, Russell Robert, Ernest Olier, Hugh Wilburn, and Charles Harold.
Pearl Lee Adams married Walter Mayfield Daniel and they moved to Pendleton County. They had the following children;
Beulah Lee (my grandmother), Nole, Edna, Virgil, and Irene Marie Daniel. This generation died off with my Great Aunt Irene's death a few years ago. Nole died young but the rest died in their 80's.
