My grandparents were Juan Eloy Adames and my grandmother was Rafaela Longo. They lived in San Juan. I believe that the family was originally from San Sebastian in El Pais Vasco or from Galicia, both provinces of Spain. I seem to remember finding a coat of arms for Adames, but it was for "Adame". If I am not mistaken, Juan Adames' father may have been first generation Puerto Rican or born in Spain. He may have had(my great grandfather) brothers that came from Spain and went to live in other parts of Iberoamerica. One of those countries was Venezuela. I would really like to have more information on the family history. If anyone can provide.
