Thanks so much for all of your hard work on behalf of the Abercrombie family. Have read, and think I can follow the line. I come from Young David Abercrombie, so think I am in the right line.

Do we know how/when the first James Abercrombie arrived in South Carolina? I have been researching this for days, and keep running into Sr. James Abercrombie, British AG of SC, another James Abercrombie, British General of Bunker Hill, etc. KNOW those are different family. Around and round I go.

My oldest James Abercrombie is DOB l709 Fife Scotland, DOD 1782 Laurens SC, married to Hannah Pickard. That's the end of the line.
