Looking for ancestors of 2 ABBATE failies that came from Campomaggiore, Italy. Family #1, Guissepe Abbate and his wife Domenica Altierei had a daughter named Mary or MAria abbate who was born on Sept. 26, 1884 in Campomaggiore. They came to NYC about 10 years later. Mary went on to marry a Francesco Abbate who was born 1877 in Campomaggiore. This was an arranged marriage and Mary was married at the age of 14. (SAcred Heart Church, Baxter St. , MAnhatten,NY)Francesco's parents were Vito Abbate and Angelina Belaso. Vito was born abt. 1848, and Angelina was born abt. 1855.
